Andy Zimmerman and Ellen Schon, Boston Sculptors Gallery

Ellen Schön’s solo exhibition (Re)Generation features a new series of ceramic totems. Originally inspired by her daughter’s pregnancy, the series evolved during the artist’s residency at the Guldagergaard International Ceramics Research Center in Skaelskor, Denmark.

Andy Zimmerman places us experientially inside the phenomena of unfurling white sails. The overlaps and translucent nature of the sails make for an unearthly stroll through the billowing sails throughout the installation.
