An English translation of Dharamvir Bharati’s classic play portraying the carnage and destruction of the Mahabharata war on its final day.
Bharati's "Andha Yug" (The Age of Darkness) is perhaps one of the best plays ever from India. Written with the backdrop of the aftermath of WWII and a probable nuclear holocaust, threatening an existential crisis, the play begins on the 18th day of the Mahabharata war and ends with the "death" of Lord Krishna.
