FREE, virtual 3 hour writing workshop. Students will leave the class with a stronger understanding of script format and with the confidence to begin their scripts. Students will have one first draft of the first two pages of a script.
You have this fantastic idea for a movie but it's all in your head! How do you get it on the page? In this class students will learn the basics of screenwriting: format, scene structure, and the elements of a scene. We will be watching some examples to enhance our understanding of some of these basic elements as well as go over the basic plot structure of a feature length film.
