With passionate brushwork and intense hues, Gillian Frazier paints melting glaciers of the north, and fires and floods on our own continent. She hopes her paintings communicate the terrifying reality our planet is headed to. Inspired by nature’s cycles and outdoor activities, Susan Jaworski Stranc shares the same anxieties about our changing climate. In Altered Landscapes, Jaworski Stranc presents a new multi-media body of work, contrasting plein air paintings that include 3-D dioramas with her reduction linoleum prints.
