The premier Caribbean charitable event to recognize our Massachusetts Caribbean American community members.

The Afro Caribbean Black History Gala & Awards will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 in Boston, MA. The gala evening begins with a virtual cocktail reception at 6:00 p.m. followed by a program at 7:00 pm with the Caribbean Diaspora members and friends of the Caribbean. The Gala & Awards reception is the highlight of the calendar of events. The Showdown puts the best Fusion and Bollywood/Hindi-Film dance teams up against one another, giving the judges the unenviable task of deciding who is the best of the best. Fusion dance combines different dance styles, set to Indian music, creating its own distinct form of dance, while the Bollywood and Hindi-Film dance style is inspired by the musical numbers seen in Indian films and features expression, themes, and storylines.
