Youth in grades 4 through 12 have spent their summer preparing Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream for live performances in the majestic Methuen Memorial Music Hall.
For the 2021 season, the Methuen Young People’s Theatre departs from its normal
Gilbert & Sullivan fare to produce William Shakespeare’s well known and eminently
delightful comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. With romantic entanglements and
intrusion of the fairy world into human endeavors, comedy abounds in complications
worthy of a Gilbert & Sullivan production. And of course, in true Gilbert & Sullivan
fashion, all is very satisfactorily resolved in the end!
