A Little Summer Night Music (Canceled)

American mezzo-soprano Samantha Hankey returns to the Festival for this beautiful program of song. Her “luscious…amber-toned” (Opera News) voice provides an engaging evening of songs and lieder. A graduate of Juilliard, she is a rising Met Opera star, especially since her First and Media Prize win at the 2018 Glyndebourne Cup. Artistic Director Barry Shiffman and pianist Mariam Batsashvili open the program with the gorgeous Brahms Viola Sonata.
