2022 Holiday Pops

Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with family, friends, and merry music at a Holiday Pops concert this December. Performing festive favorites from cultural traditions around the world, conductors Keith Lockhart and James Burton, along with the Pops, will get you in the holiday spirit quicker than you can sing “Fa la la la la.”

Started in 1973 by Boston Pops Conductor Arthur Fiedler, these concerts take place in the magical atmosphere of world-famous Symphony Hall, beautifully decorated to evoke all the magic and charm of the season.

KIDS’ MATINEES
Kids’ matinee performances, geared toward younger children, are shorter in length, with no intermissions, and an opportunity for a post-concert visit with Santa, including special treats.

SENSORY-FRIENDLY CONCERT
A sensory-friendly concert also returns on Saturday, December 3 at 10:30 am. The show is designed for all families with children or adults diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder or sensory sensitivities. This is a shortened 60-minute version of our standard Holiday Pops concert, with a flexible, non- judgmental environment. Modifications include relaxed house rules, reduced volume and lighting levels, extra space for movement, available noise- reduction headphones, designated quiet room and support spaces, modified food concessions, and credentialed autism therapist volunteers on site.
