Through video, photography, and installation, Israeli artist Tamar Nissim explores the experiences of women in mid-twentieth-century Israel.
Tamar Nissim’s videos, photographs, and objects explore how Western hygiene methods were interwoven with nationalist ideology to control women in mid-twentieth-century Israel.
