WCACA Presents Freedom Jamboree Block Party

A family friendly block party with live music, performances, food, and more!

WCACA is dedicated to the empowerment of people, preservation of Caribbean tradition and respect for cultural diversity. Although our tradition Carnival event will not be taking place this year, we hope you join us in celebration by attending the Freedom Jamboree Block Party. Vendors are welcome!

The Showdown puts the best Fusion and Bollywood/Hindi-Film dance teams up against one another, giving the judges the unenviable task of deciding who is the best of the best. Fusion dance combines different dance styles, set to Indian music, creating its own distinct form of dance, while the Bollywood and Hindi-Film dance style is inspired by the musical numbers seen in Indian films and features expression, themes, and storylines.
