Sculptural installation, fiber art and architectural drawings address the dynamics of power and firearms.

Assemble to Disassemble questions gun culture through the work of three artists. After first installing it in the Texas Capitol to confront lawmakers for the opening week of the recent Legislative session, Mison Kim, Naomi Spinak and Lalena Fisher bring their exhibition to the Harvard Smith Campus Center. Free and open to the public: Assemble to Disassemble will remain on view from February 28 through March 10. The Arts Wing gallery hours are 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. daily; it is located at 1350 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge.

A reception for the artists will include a town-hall-style public conversation on the topic “What Can Arts Activism Accomplish?” moderated by Alicia Anstead, Associate Director for Programming at the Office for the Arts. The event is hosted by the Risk and Resilience Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Harvard Office for the Arts, and Common Spaces. It will take place on Thursday, February 27 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Smith Center Commons at 1350 Massachusetts Ave.
