Have you always wanted to make music with others? Led by Nadia Castagna Morin and Miles Douglas Wilcox, these Adult Music Making classes feature 2 sessions, one on drumming (May 5) and another on singing (May 12). Instruments will be provided. No prior musical experience necessary. Co-sponsored by the Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs, these adults-only programs are for ALL adults in the community. The Showdown puts the best Fusion and Bollywood/Hindi-Film dance teams up against one another, giving the judges the unenviable task of deciding who is the best of the best. Fusion dance combines different dance styles, set to Indian music, creating its own distinct form of dance, while the Bollywood and Hindi-Film dance style is inspired by the musical numbers seen in Indian films and features expression, themes, and storylines.
