The National Center for Jewish Film's 20th Annual ...

Presented by The National Center for Jewish Film at Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Since 1976, The National Center for Jewish Film has rescued, restored, and exhibited films that document the diversity and vibrancy of Jewish life. Their annual festival is a vibrant program of new independent films and restored classics from around the world, with visiting filmmakers and scholars attending many screenings. This year’s festival includes Avi Nesher’s film Past Life, which tracks the daring late 1970s odyssey of two sisters – an introverted classical musician and a rambunctious scandal sheet journalist – as they unravel a shocking wartime mystery that has cast a dark shadow on their lives.

The festival is curated by NCJF’s co-directors, Lisa Rivo and Sharon Pucker Rivo.
