The Ethelbert Cooper Gallery of African & African American Art at the Hutchins Center

The Ethelbert Cooper Gallery of African & African American Art is a part of the Hutchins Center for African & African American Research at Harvard University. The gallery presents exhibitions featuring contemporary African and African American art in exhibitions and installations: imagined by curators, faculty, artists, and guests. The gallery space was designed by David Adjaye. A myriad of programming and events are offered throughout the year ranging from: local engagements, workshops, and artist talks; to symposia and lectures.
