Historic Prowse Farm is a scenic, multi-purpose venue with a location second to none: 44 acres of scenic landscape known as the “front lawn of the foothills of the Great Blue Hills,” nestled beautifully at the border of Canton and Milton, Massachusetts, located off Rte. 95/128. Formerly known as the world famous “Forbes Farm,” home of J. Malcolm Forbes’ world champion trotting standard-bred horses and later to Martha Peabody Prowse, the mansion and/or grounds are available for special event rental.
The Native Americans called the area Moswatusek — “land by the great hill.”
