The Harvard Film Archive offers a public cinematheque program, presenting films Friday through Monday nights year round, often with filmmakers present. All screenings are held in the Archive’s 188-seat theater located in the historic Carpenter Center for the Arts.

    The Harvard Film Archive can be entered via the accessible main entrance of the Carpenter Center. For those who cannot take the stairs, please use the elevator located beyond the double doors on the right side of the gallery and to the right of the loading dock

    Three hearing assisted headsets are also available for audience use.

    A wheelchair is available for use by patrons by request on the first floor near the security desk.

PARKING INFO

Although parking in Cambridge is difficult (most of the surrounding streets have restricted parking for Cambridge residents only), metered parking on Broadway and Harvard Streets, as well as the rest of Harvard Square, is free after 8pm. Film-goers are encouraged to use public transportation, particularly the MBTA Red Line.

PUBLIC ADMISSION FEES

$10 - Regular Admission
$8 - Non-Harvard Students and Senior Citizens
$15 - Special Event Ticket Price for all patrons

Regular HFA screenings are free for all Harvard students, faculty and staff with a valid photo ID. Discounts apply for Harvard Film Archive Members.
