Coronavirus/COVID-19 BosTix Policy

The health and safety of our staff, arts organizations, and BosTix patrons are of the utmost importance to all of us at ArtsBoston. We are closely monitoring the evolving coronavirus/COVID-19 situation and are following the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

We encourage anyone not feeling well or experiencing flu-like symptoms to stay home. Please take the standard precautions, including frequent and thorough hand washing, to prevent the spread of any flu-like illness. If you are planning to attend an upcoming performance we encourage you to visit the venue or organization’s website to familiarize yourself with their policies and procedures regarding coronavirus/COVID-19.

Make a Donation

  • The arts depend on people like you to thrive and this is a challenging time for everyone. Please consider donating the value of your ticket back to ArtsBoston to support the local arts community.

BosTix Patron Requests

  • We are happy to work with patrons who cannot attend (or feel uncomfortable attending) a performance on a case-by-case basis. You can either exchange your order for an upcoming date of the same performance with no fee (up to 12-hours before the performance) or BosTix will issue a credit in the full amount of your order.

Show Cancellations

  • If a show has been canceled, we will notify BosTix patrons and provide options to exchange your order for an upcoming date of the same performance with no fee (up to 12-hours before the performance). Patrons may also receive a BosTix gift card for the full amount of the ticket purchase to be redeemed at a later date, or request a full refund.
