Inspired by community-based theatre, we developed this company two summers ago with a central goal of doing collaborative work. We are a group of creative people dedicated to making original theater that is free, accessible, and relevant to our communities. Our process, our shows, & our company speak to contemporary life, both locally and globally, as the raw elements are informed by our own experiences and are then tailored to create intimate, compelling, resonant drama. Our collective is responsible for and creates everything, from the writing to the set and costume design to the acting to the directing, publicity, and fundraising. We aim to be non-hierarchical and collaborative in every aspect of our work, including collaborative casting, directing, writing, etc. We’ve imagined & crafted every aspect of our shows. While our unity is a focus of our independent organization, the artistic, intellectual, & social diversity make our group progressive and fulfilling.
