About The Food Project Founded in 1991, The Food Project works to create a sustainable food system by bringing together young people and adults to build it. Through this process, they develop deep personal commitment to each other and the land, often transforming their lives. The Food Project community produces healthy food for residents of the city and suburbs, provides youth leadership opportunities, and inspires and supports
