The Boston Flute Academy (BFA) was founded in 2008 by Boston flutist Judy Grant. It has made innovative programming, the finest teachers, and world-class guest artists accessible to all ages and levels of flute students. The school is possibly the first of its kind, offering a conservatory curriculum designed specifically for flutists. BFA first began as an accelerated training program for flutists seeking performance careers, and has now expanded into a school which serves all flutists from novice to professional.
