The M.A. Center is a non-profit, charitable organization. Amma is internationally recognized for her humanitarian efforts and has received the Ghandi King Award, the NY Interfaith Center Award, the Dharma Ghadga Award and the SUNY Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.
