Based in Boston, The Cadenza Players are an orchestra and a consortium of soloists that perform concertos exclusively, pairing on each concert classics from the past and would-be classics of the present and future by living composers.

The group was created in 2009 and the first concert was presented that April with a program featuring flute and clarinet concertos by Mozart, Gordon Jacob’s Concerto for Bassoon and Strings (1948), and the world premiere of Benjamin Pesetsky’s Concerto for Oboe and Orchestra.
