Boston Fisheries Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization.  Our mission is to preserve, sustain and share Boston’s rich seafood culture and maritime heritage. Our goal is to connect the Greater Boston community to the Fishing communities of Boston and New England in a way that is both fun and educational. Seafood played a major role in the formational history of Boston and continues today to contribute a significant role in the economy  and cultural tapestry while providing the most delicious and nutritious protein source for which Boston is so famous.

The Boston Fisheries Foundation wants to ensure that fisheries remains a vital part of New England life and maintains its iconic role in the US seafood economy.
