Project Grants are given out to encourage Milton artists or organizations with projects that are innovative, collaborative in nature, benefit the community and demonstrate artistic excellence. Priority is given to applications from Milton Educational Institutions and organizations that benefit Milton’s children and elderly. Funding priority is given to Milton artists and organizations and to projects that originate in Milton. Proposals are encouraged that reflect knowledge of specific Milton neighborhood’s artistic, humanist and cultural needs and are collaborative efforts with neighborhood councils and organizations. The Milton Cultural Council encourages grant proposals that highlight and/or serve specific ethnic and socioeconomic groups.
