“Service Above Self”

For over 8 decades Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self” has taken shape at the Rotary Club of Newton in a myriad of ways.  Within our community, we seek ways to serve the needs of a diverse of population. From food, clothing, and shelter for the needy, to scholarships and camperships for the young, safety checks for seniors, supporting and developing young leaders, and more, we strive to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors.

Internationally, working together with the Rotary Foundation  the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, and the World Health Organization, our efforts to eradicate POLIO throughout the world have been widely successful (we’re almost there). Rotary even has a permanent seat at the United Nations!
