Simply put, ArtsBoston.org is your “one stop shop” for arts and entertainment in Boston. We want you to get out and see a show, visit an exhibit, take out your family or friends…in short, to discover the amazing arts events and performances happening throughout Greater Boston. And if you’re a visitor, we know you will find plenty of reasons to stay an extra day or two and see why Boston is such a remarkable place. By providing you with comprehensive information about what to do and where to go for unique cultural experiences, we hope to inspire greater participation in this broad range of events and activities.

Artsboston.org is a comprehensive online arts and entertainment calendar for upcoming exhibits, performances, and concerts in the Greater Boston area. Our goal is to gather all of Greater Boston’s cultural and entertainment events in one central space that is easy to use and focused on the arts. Artsboston.org helps you search and browse for theater, music, dance, and arts happenings by event, date, keyword, and category. You can also find restaurant, parking, and venue information to help make your day or night out as simple as possible. Visitors can read reviews from mainstream media, citizen journalists, bloggers, and other users just like themselves, as well as watch videos and hear audio clips that will make them more informed before they make their purchasing decisions.

ArtsBoston’s mission is to promote the arts in Greater Boston by making the arts accessible, integral to our lives, and more affordable for all arts lovers. ArtsBoston serves more than 170 organizations in theatre, music, dance, visual arts, comedy, and film throughout Greater Boston by helping them grow audiences, providing strategic and capacity-building resources, and serving as a collective voice for the arts.

ArtsBoston is the voice and resource for the arts in Greater Boston, representing more than 170 theatre, music, dance, visual arts, and film member groups. Founded in 1975, our programs and services are continually evolving to ensure we are serving our member arts groups and the public to the best of our ability. Our ½ price ticketing programs (BosTix, BosTix Advance, and BosTix Jr.) and Member Services make the arts accessible to a wide audience while providing our member groups with cost-effective means to market their programs. Since our inception, we’ve brought 3.2 million people to the arts and have returned over $42 million to Greater Boston’s arts community.
