The Boston Tango Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support and growth of the Argentine Tango.   The organization is celebrating their 20th Anniversary in 2017.  For a modest annual membership fee, the members enjoy discounts on events, dance classes, and social dances called Milongas.   Membership is open to all in the greater Boston community and beyond.  All events and activities are open to all, whether a member or non-member.

In June 2017, at a meeting of the Boston City Council, the Boston Tango Society was recognized for it contribution to the cultural life of Boston, “for dedication in support and growth of the Argentine Tango.  They  proclaimed the week of “June 14 to 18, as Boston Tango Week”  when the Boston Tango Society will produce their 13th Annual Tango Festival.
