The purpose of NEPTA is to inspire its members to ever higher standards of teaching by fostering interest in the latest developments in the piano teaching profession, to provide opportunities for its members to meet outstanding music educators, to present piano students in recitals, to provide scholarships in connection with such purposes, and to hold workshops and master classes which will be open to others as well as the membership with the net proceeds from such benefiting the scholarship fund. Fundamentally, NEPTA exists to cultivate a spirit of understanding, cooperation, and fellowship among its members.
