These are all dimensions of the cosmic figure of Shiva, captured in different legends and fables throughout time. And within every legend, lives some kernel of deeper truth.

Under the artistic vision of Shefali Jain and direction of Gretchen Hayden, senior disciple of Pandit Chitresh Das, Chhandika students and senior teachers will explore the timeless stories of Shiva. Featuring esteemed musicians from India, Jayanta Banerjee on sitar and Satyaprakash Mishra on tabla, and vocalist Sujatha Kumar, Legends of Shiva promises to be an engaging and enthralling experience told through the ancient Indian classical dance form of Kathak.
