"The Music of Fairytales"- Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra Family Concert

Presented by Philharmonic Society of Arlington at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Arlington

Conductor Orlando Cela will lead the orchestra in presenting “The Music of Fairytales".  Bring the whole family to find out how music brings fairytales to life! Learn how the instruments match the characters and the story. The program will also feature cellist Andrew Y. Kim, the Wood Division winner of the 2023 Young Artist Competition, performing Tchaikovsky’s Pezzo Capriccioso. The concert will end with a musical rendition, composed by Boston’s own Larry Thomas Bell, of the well-known fairytale “Hansel and Gretel”, narrated by Jeff O’Neil.
