The Scots’ Charitable Society is holding its legendary Tartan Ball with live music during dinner, followed by the Apple Music recording Ceilidh band, Celtic Beats, along with Dropkick Murphys piper (Cam Webster), and award winning Scottish dancers.
Scots’ Charitable Society is holding its legendary Scottish celebration, the Tartan Ball, on Tartan Day, April 6, 2024. Tartan Day is a day for Scotland to celebrate its connections with the USA and Canada and celebrations are held in major cities throughout North America to celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions made by Scottish Americans to the United States. You can be part of this worldwide phenomena by attending the Tartan Ball celebrating local, award winning Scottish artists and traditional Scottish dancers. The evening will include live music consisting of a harpist during the cocktail hour, pipers and fiddlers throughout dinner, and will feature Apple Music recording Ceilidh band, Celtic Beats, along with the Dropkick Murphys piper (Cam Webster), together with an after-dinner Ceilidhl that includes local musicians, bands, and dancers. Guests are provided instruction and encouraged to participate in the traditional Scottish Ceilidh dance after dinner. The evening promises much fun and a memorable party atmosphere for everyone.
Everyone is encouraged, but not required, to wear kilts and tartan regalia.
Tickets are $75 per person, or a table of 8 for $560 for both the dinner and the ball.
For those wishing to attend the Scottish Ceilidh dance only, limited tickets will be available at $20 per person and entry will be at 8:30.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available. There will be a cash bar, raffle, and silent auction available to all dinner attendees.
