A fresh twist on Oscar Wilde’s comic masterpiece, set in the 1920s. This time it’s the women’s turn to lead double lives… and pay the price!
Oscar Wilde wrote this play as a contemporary satire on Victorian society. Over a hundred years later it still hits home, exposing the hypocrisy and absurdities of high society. In this gender-swapped production, the skewering continues in the 1920s, where women have shaken off the fetters of corsets and chaperones.
