"From Life: Drawings by Dan Hofstadter" is a solo show of direct, perceptual drawings, unmediated by tools. The artist always keeps his sketchbook by his side, a constant companion to his work as an abstract painter and art-writer. Shown at the gallery are freehand landscapes – responses to wherever he was living at the time - along with portraits and figure studies. Most are for sale.

The Opening Reception: Sunday, November 5, from 2 - 5:00 pm. Artist on hand. Refreshments.

"Third Thursday" Reception: November 16, from 6 - 9:00 pm, and includes a spontaneous discussion led by the artist. Refreshments.

The show is open Fridays and Saturdays 2-6pm during the month of November.
