Running Friday and Saturday, June 2 & 3 at 8 pm, the Footlight Club's 7A Black Box Series returns with Proof by David Auburn. Michael Colford directs this award-winning play from 2000, which revolves around Catherine, the daughter of Robert, a recently deceased mathematical genius in his fifties and professor at the University of Chicago, and her struggle with mathematical genius and mental illness. The play won the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play.
Tickets are $10 in advance through the Footlight Club website, or cash only at the door.
