Caio e Jess is led by American vocalist, Jessica Curran and Brazilian guitarist, Caio Afiune. The two uniquely blend their backgrounds in Jazz, Rock-Pop and Brazilian Music to create genre-bending organic and lush compositions. Both professors at Berklee College of music and with awards such as the ASCAP Young Composers Award and John Lennon Songwriting Contest under their belts, Caio e Jess provide an ethereal, immersive and honest show of virtuosic electricity with either full band or duo. Their works explore the many forms of compassion shown to ourselves, to each other, and to the planet with poetic lyrics, sophisticated harmonies and a synthesis of organic instruments and modern technology.
