Big Picture Art House runs Summer photography classes for 11-15 year olds. Cameras are supplied, students go on field trips daily to Boston hotspots, beach towns and farms. Editing is done in Lightroom.  All the teachers are professional photographers that love working with tweens and teens. Pick up and drop off is in Jamaica Plain and class size is small at 7 students per group. Students and parents alike give Big Picture rave reviews for the safe, fun and welcoming vibe the program fosters as well as the effective photo instruction. Class themes range from topics like Street Documentary to Coastal Boston to Behind the Scenes where students get personal tours and introduction to local businesses.
