His house concerts—where he played alongside his own two daughters as well as esteemed friends—were fervently admired for their graceful and beautiful music. The venerated viol virtuoso Philippe Pierlot draws inspiration from these intimate programs as he returns to BEMF with his Ricercar Consort for a program of music by Sainte-Colombe and his contemporaries.
