Since being established in 1979 as the first festival in North America, the Boston Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival has grown into a place that fosters community through learning, sharing, and experiencing together. Come as we witness one of largest cultural festivals in New England where local and out of state teams compete. The festival also showcases various cultural performances such as lion dancing and taiko drumming, as well as art activities for all. The event also brings together many food vendors for everyone to try a wide range of cuisine from across Asia. This event is open to the public and welcomes persons of all ages and identities.
