Pipa virtuoso Wu Man, one of the 2023 recipients of the National Endowment for the Arts, and acclaimed violist Hsin-Yun Huang, faculty at both Curtis and Juilliard, will join by Meraki String Quartet at NEC's Jordan Hall on Saturday May 6, 8 pm for a program that includes viola classic, Chinese traditional, and works by Chou Wen-Chung, Ligeti, Bright Sheng, and a specially commissioned piece by the prize-winning composer Lei Liang for an unique combination of pipa and viola for your enjoyment.
Tickets $15- $50. Free students and complimentary tickets for non-students available. Children under 6 are not admitted.
