Join local poets for an open mic hosted by featured reader Charles Coe, Artists-at-Large, and the Hyde Park Branch Library. Poets, please bring a poem to share. Gain confidence, encouragement, and energy from performing before an audience. Poets and non-poets alike are welcome to listen and absorb!
Charles Coe is a poet, writer, teacher and musician. He has published four books of poetry; Picnic on the Moon, All Sins Forgiven: Poems for my Parents, Memento Mori, and Purgatory Road (Leapfrog Press), as well as the novella Spin Cycles (Gemma Media). Peach Pie, a film adaptation of his poem "Fortress," has been screened at film festivals nationwide. Coe is adjunct professor of poetry at Salve Regina University
