CAT Trio (Carmen Staaf, Austin McMahon & Tony Scherr)

CAT Trio (Carmen Staaf, Austin McMahon & Tony Scherr)

Presented by Mandorla Music at Hope Central Church

You don’t get to see pianist Carmen Staaf (Dee Dee Bridgewater, Allison Miller) or bassist Tony Scherr (Bill Frisell, Ani Difranco, Lounge Lizards) in Boston very often, and this coming-together with Austin McMahon, one of the Boston jazz scene’s most in-demand drummers, is very exciting.

Mandorla Music was proud to present this wonderful new trio’s virtual debut in 2021 and we’re so glad they’re making a Mandorla stop on their upcoming tour, Sat 3/18 at 8pm at Hope Central Church in Jamaica Plain. We hope you’ll come out and give CAT Trio a warm welcome!

Hope Central Church is a short walk from Green Street station on the Orange Line and from JP’s Centre Street. There’s free parking at the church.
