Join an evening tour of the 1806 mansion at Gore Place in Waltham. Living in the Dark will feature all the techniques and devices the Gores and their staff employed to light this beautiful country house. On this guided tour, you’ll marvel at the graceful curve of the Great Stairs, the lovely Oval Withdrawing Room, Peacock Parlor, Great Hall, Billiard room, and bed chambers. The style and quality of the furnishings, the many Boston-built pieces, and the personal touches make this one of the great New England house tours.
