DAVID, the pianist, much influenced by master musician, experimenter, JOSEPH MANERI, leads an outstanding ensemble of seven accomplished musicians from Boston and New England – musicians who have known each other for years, no new kids on the block -  no new kids on the block - holding a monthly series - yet out of the media limelight thus unknown to you?…to discover)!

Unrehearsed…but not a jam session, a discovering of something from music that is focused on the moment; yet creating a unity—there is structure, too—through improvisation; involved and waiting for the moments to enter, expressing individuality; deep listening…

There is a more than the physical element of playing that ebbs and flows with the music, a spirit that you will feel…

Kevin Frenette, guitar:  “Kevin Frenette is not content to serve up any sort of ‘easy listening.’”.  All About Jazz

Scott Getchell, trumpet: a long time player with Boston’s renowned Revolutionary Snake Ensemble,

Todd Brunel, bass clarinet & tenor: "Tremendous virtuosity and heart."  Boston Globe

Glenn Dickson, clarinet:  "At a time when so much seems to divide us, the spiritual impact of this (his) music seems to pull people together, to invite not just listening to our own heartbeats, but to the world around us…”. KlezmerShack

Joe Musacchia, drums: Born with many talents for both artistry and scientific invention, Joe also holds a position at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine at MGH where he is developing of a novel technology used for transduction of light energy to stimulate neuronal and muscle tissue….

Kit Demos, bass & modular synthesize: "constantly researches the possibilities of electronics and new territories for the acoustic bass.  All of that research opens doors to rethinking music in the moment…”.  S. Vandermark, Boston Jazz Scene.
