Join Boston Cecilia as we celebrate the approaching Solstice with the beauty of melodic, linguistic and spiritual difference.
Boston Cecilia Chorus ushers in the holiday season with a new take on the tradition of Evensong, offering a set of sacred works from different faiths and traditions to aurally illuminate the dark hours of the darkest time of year. The program will feature Trevor Weston’s stunning Magnificat for choir and organ and include works by Benjamin Britten, Igor Stravinsky, Kevin Allen, Kenneth Leighton, and Salamone Rossi.
