World premieres of new compositions commissioned for this event to raise money for glioblastoma cancer research at The Dana Farber Cancer Institute, featuring performances by the Zamir Chorale, Koleinu, and several fine chamber ensembles.
A Gala Benefit Concert, featuring the world premieres of new music commissioned for this event from some of Sarah’s favorite composers, inclusing Charles Osborne, Nick Page, Robbie Solomon, Daniel Gil, and several others. Performing ensembles include The Zamir Chorale of Boston (Joshua Jacobson, Artistic Director), Koleinu (Carol Marton, Artistic Director), The Musical Friends (Eijah Botkin, Artistic Director), and several fine chamber ensembles. All ticket sales and donations will go into the Glioblastoma Brain Tumor Research Fund at Dana Farber. To ease access to and within the building, there are automatic door openers inside and outside the Ward St. and Ashford Rd. entrances, improved signage and markings for handicap parking. Restrooms have been modified for wheelchair access throughout.
