Join the Metropolitan Chorale and our acclaimed soloists for exploration of our planet's beauty, fragility, and our shared custody of its future with works by Steven Sametz, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Joni Mitchell, and selections from Scott Ordway's "The End of Rain" and more!

Pre-concert talk at 2pm with composer Scott Ordway about his work "The End of Rain."

Our featured artists for the program include soprano Sonja DuToit Tengblad, contralto Emily Marvosh, baritone Dana Whiteside, as well as Jonathan Hess, percussionist, Maria Rindenello-Spraker, harpist, and Julia Scott Carey, collaborative pianist.

The Metropolitan Chorale is a 100-voice auditioned chorus, and one of Boston’s premier vocal ensembles. The Chorale is a vibrant community of musicians drawn together by a commitment to performing stellar repertoire at high standards, while fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The Metropolitan Chorale is a proud participant in the EBT Card to Culture Program. Tickets are available free of charge to EBT/WIC card holders at the venue on the evening of the event.
