On Saturday, October 29, join us for a very special performance that artfully sets poets' verse to music. With the acoustically-rich accompaniment of classical guitar, cello, and piano, what better way to listen to the poets' words than with beautiful choral renderings and the voice of a very special tenor soloist.
“In beauty may I walk … with beauty all around me”… lines that evoke the moments in which all seems right with the world, in which everything is clear, in which the separation between yourself and everything else dissolves. Featuring the music of Jeffrey Van, Alice Parker, Jonathan Dove, Meredith Monk, and Stephen Paulus, and the poetry of Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman, Michael Dennis Browne, and others.
