ArtsBoston is partnering with Warner Brothers to give out passes to an advance screening of the new superhero film “Black Adam”
Born out of rage, Black Adam smashes into theaters this fall with Dwayne Johnson starring as the popular DC hero bestowed with the power of the gods. Freed from 5,000 years of imprisonment, his unique form of justice will be challenged by modern day heroes: the Justice Society. Also starring Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone and Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate, Warner Bros.’ Pictures Black Adam opens nationwide on October 21.
In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was bestowed the almighty powers of the gods. After using these powers for vengeance, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Nearly 5,000 years have passed, and Black Adam has gone from man to myth to legend. Now free, his unique form of justice, born out of rage, is challenged by modern-day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher and Cyclone.
