Zone 3 Community Sketchbook

Presented by Zone 3 at Zone 3

The Zone 3 Community Sketchbook is a place for experimentation, practice, and expression in collaboration with Harvard University Planning and Design. Join us on Saturday, October 15 for a celebration of public art featuring hands-on workshops by Allston-Brighton artists Tianna Rivera and Nell Valle.

The Zone 3 Community Sketchbook, located at The Grove in Allston (Western Ave & N. Harvard St across from Trader Joes) is a publicly accessible green space that has been reimagined into a new community asset where people can gather and express themselves artistically.  Stop by any time on Saturday, October 15 between 12-6pm as we will turn the page on the sketchbook and gather to create something new!

Local artists Tianna Rivera and Nell Valle will lead the community in hands-on workshops where you will learn the fundamentals of stenciling, large scale paint by number, and the process of creating an art installation from the ground up. While you get creative, there will be live music, treats from Blackbird Doughnuts and other fun activities for all ages to enjoy!
