Creative Economy Workshop: Mastering Art Markets And Pop-Ups

Presented by MassArt and Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture at Online/Virtual Space

Are you ready to sell your work face to face at art markets or pop up shops? Join Jen Palacio to learn best practices for applying to markets, designing exciting displays, and engaging customers, as well as some practical tips to keep things running smoothly on the day of the event. Whether you're preparing to sell at markets for the first time, thinking about doing a pop-up shop, or just looking to level up your event selling game, this talk will have actionable information for all levels.

The lecturer, Jen Palacio, is a printmaker and designer with a letterpress studio and brick & mortar and online stationery shop, Tiny Turns Paperie. She co-organizes several annual craft markets and teaches courses in the Sustainability Program at the Harvard Extension School.

This workshop is being offered as part of the Creative Economy Workshop Series at MassArt. This series of one-day, non-credit lectures and webinars is focused on professional development for practicing and aspiring creative entrepreneurs, artists, designers, and freelancers. This program is supported through a partnership with the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture. To see upcoming workshops visit the Eventbrite Profile for Massachusetts College of Art.
